We were prepared for them - Ntseki

Amajimbos head coach, Molefi Ntseki, revealed he prepared his side well for their clash with Cameroon on Sunday afternoon.

The national U17 side defeated Cameroon 3-1 to book a semi-final spot at the U17 African Youth Championship and secured a spot at the 2015 FIFA World Cup in Chile.

A brace from captain Nelson Maluleke and a own-goal from Cameroon's Fokem Achille secured the win for the South Africans and Ntseki believes the nation should by happy.

“We are grateful to God firstly for always being with us, we believe that the entire country is happy," Ntseki said in a statement released by SAFA. “I like to thank the South African Football Association (SAFA) and the Technical team for all their hard work. Cameroon came with a plan but we had prepared for them very well."

Amajimbos will face the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria in their semi-final tie on Wednesday, 25 February 2014.
