The newly elected president of FECAFOOT, Tombi A Roko Sidiki, and members of his team (Alioum Aladji, Pierre Batamack, Antoine Esomba Eyenga, etc.) visited the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP) and National Olympic and Sports Committee, (CNOSC) in Yaoundé on Monday, October 5, 2015.

The former president of the regional league of Littoral had earlier promised in his manifesto that if elected president, one of his first tasks would be to establish more friendly relations between the Cameroon Football Federation and its partners, including the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP) and the National Olympic Committee and Sports of Cameroon (CNOSC).

True to his words, the first stop was a visit to the new Sports Minister, Pierre Ishmael Bidoung Kpwatt, who was installed by the Prime Minister. The second was CNOSC for a welcoming ceremony of the newly elected FECAFOOT executives. Here Tombi met with the president of CNOSC, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum.

With the tensed relations between the two institutions for over 2 years, it was time to bury the hatchet. "We are a federation under the Olympic Committee. It is therefore clear that we will respect all decisions taken by the Olympic Committee,” said Tombi A Roko.
