Limbe Stadium still pending completion

The Governor of the South West Region, Bernard Okalia Bilai, has frowned at the slow pace of projects in the Limbe Stadium, one of those to host the Female AFCON this 2016.

The Governor became displeased at the situation at the end of an inspection visit to the site on January 5, 2016.

During the visit, Governor Bernard Okalia discovered that work was only at 22 percent execution, with electricity and water yet to be connected.

In this regard, he exhorted the companies working on the site to speed up their activities so as to be ready for inspection by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) scheduled for February 2016.
