Ligue 1: Racing leads after Day 2

Racing FC of Bafoussam confirmed its position at the early stages of the 2016 sports season.

This was done after they outplayed Dragon FC of Yaounde at the Mbalmayo stadium on Sunday, February 7, 2016.

The Tout Puissant de l’Ouest( The Almighty of West), beat their host one goal to nil. The newly promoted Ligue 1 has now recorded two wins in two games.

This performance allows them to take the lead with six points. Racing shares the top spot with Yong Sport of Bamenda, who also has two wins in two games.

Union of Douala, New Stars of Douala, and Coton Sport of Garoua, could only manage a draw in their encounters. After losing the first day, Coton Sport, Cameroon champion snatched her first point against Panthere of Nde in Bangangté.

Astres of Douala and Dragon of Yaounde are the two clubs still striving for their first point. Canon of Yaounde, who was in this lot, distinguished herself by beating Botafogo of Douala.

In total, there were five wins, four draws, and 13 goals scored.
