Jean Paul Akono In Coma

Unconfirmed sources on January 30, 2014, said the erstwhile coach of the Indomitable Lions, Jean Paul Akono, was in a coma after his health worsened once more.

Since Akono suffered a heart attack in 2013 and went for treatment in Europe, he has never fully recovered. He has been rumoured dead twice, but each time, the information turned out to be false. Latest information says he has been evacuated again for medical reasons to Europe.
