Indomitable Lions gain fresh impetus

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon has called to camp two new players; Adolphe Teiku of Chornomorets Odessa (Ukraine) and Patrick Ekeng Ekeng of Cordoba (Spain) on the hills of the matches with Cote D’Ivoire and DRC in two weeks.

Cameroonians got to know about the two new comers on Friday 31st October 2014 after the publication of a 24-man squad by the Head Coach Volker Finke.

Adolphe Teikeu who plays in Ukraine and Patrick Ekeng Ekeng in Spain integrates the selection for the first time.

Their first matches with the Indomitable Lions come on day 5th and 6th of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers matches to be fielded from 15th November 2014.

The Head Coach Volke Finke asserts that the adjustments within the team were made to ensure professionalism.

He said the 24 players will start camping on 10th November 2014 at the CAF Excellence Center in Mbankomo.

The Newcomers are replacing other relatively new players like Marc Kibong (Boluspor) and Guy Christian Zock (Cosmos du Mbam)

In the meantime, Francky Essombo (Astres de Douala) and Luc Landry Tabi Manga (Apejes de Mfou) who were called up in October to play against Leone Star Of Sierra Leone have not featured the in the recent selection.
