Indomitable Lions begin camp

It is the largest international season and the national team of Cameroon touched down in Lisses near Paris on Wednesday morning. The technical staff was in full force with the arrival on Wednesday of the national coach Volker Finke and his deputies.

Only Alexandre Belinga, another deputy of Finke is absent as he is en route Nouakchott where he will oversee the national selection of Indomitable Lions’ opponent Mauritania on June 14 in Yaounde.

The first set of players arrived Wednesday and had their first training session Wednesday afternoon, 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. (local) at Espace Leonardo.

The rest of the team is expected to arrive today and the national coach will observe a real training session at a stadium.

The Indomitable Lions program includes a friendly match on Saturday against the national team of Burkina Faso at the stadium of Yves du Manoir in Colombes from 18H (local time).

Another friendly match will follow at Mons in Belgium against the DRC. The Indomitable Lions will then play their first match of the CAN 2017 qualifiers in Yaounde on June 14 against Mauritania.
