Governor of the North suspends all regional league activities

Abaté Edii Jean, Governor of the Northern Region has suspended all activities in the FECAFOOT Regional League of the North.

In a statement signed on 13 June, the head of the Northern Region warned everyone against attempting to organize meetings or other activities in the region prior to elective general meeting of presidents of departmental and regional leagues.

This was the decision of the Governor during the launch of the regional championship football league. The regional league of FECAFOOT was planned to kick off on June 14.

Clubs like qu’Etoile Filante Fc, Esperance de Guider, National, Pilote et Renaissance de Guider, who had already started warming up for the regional championship must hold on pending the holding of meeting of elected assemblies in the departments of the regions in July.

For Championships during the vacation, regional delegation of Physical Education and Sports indicates that the organizers should refer to the sub-prefects of their districts for special permits.
