Futsal coaches under training in Yaounde

Fifa in collaboration with the National Technical Directorate at Fecafoot are organizing a five-day training workshop for coaches of futsal in the country.

According to the assistant technical director number 2, Etienne Sockeng, the training was solicited because they are trying to promote the game of futsal and beach soccer in Cameroon. Participants will examine issues like how to create and run a club, grooming futsal talents and other issues related to the development of the discipline.

Work during the training will be both theoretical and practical. The training is facilitated by Duig Hicham from Morocco, the lone African Fifa instructor in futsal who is in Cameroon for the second time for the same purpose.
