Far north tops FENASSCO B medal chart

The National primary games of Cameroon have ended in Bafoussam, with the Far North emerging the best.

The Far North Region recorded a total in 26 medals; 11 in gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze.

The host region, the west occupied the second place with a total of 21 medals; 7 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze medals.

The Centre and the North regions placed third with 6 gold medals each.

The last three regions on the chart were the Adamawa, the North West with two gold medals each and the Littoral with no gold medal.

Prior to the official closing ceremony, the Minister of Basic Education Madame Youssouf Hadidja Alim watched the football finals in the female and male categories.

The Ministers of Basic Education, Youssouf Hadidja Alim, her counterpart of Sports and Physical Education, Adoum Garoua and that of Employment and Vocational Training, Zakarie Perevet were all present at the ceremony to award the medals to outstanding athletes at the 10th edition of the FENASSCO B organised at the Bafoussam stadium.
