FECAFOOT creates Issa Hayatou Cup

The ninth resolution of the final communiqué of the meeting of the executive committee of the Cameroon Football Federation has devoted the creation of the Cup of Cameroon under 19, called "Issa Hayatou Cup."

The tournament, mainly for young people training in Ligue 1 and 2, or regional leagues, pays tribute to the current acting president of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Probably in recognition of the many services rendered to his country by the former President of FECAFOOT, and the influence of the image of Cameroon in international bodies. Cameroon U19 Cup will begin from the 2015/2016 season.
