The government of Cameroon has validated the September 29th elections at FECAFOOT whose outcome favoured Tombi a Roko Sidiki as the President of the Federation.

The decision came after arguements raised by the Chamber of Abitration and Conciliation for Sports that the elections were null and void.

It was against this backdrop that a crisis meeting organised this Wednesday 18th November 2015 at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education examined the decision cancelling the elections at FECAFOOT.

The meeting that was coordinated by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Bidoung Kpwat and attended by FECAFOOT regional delegates, the new executive, football partners amongst others declared the decision of the chamber of conciliation and arbitration for sports null and void.

The Minister insisted that the executive bureau headed by Tombi Aroko Sidiki was valid to run FECAFOOT affairs.

A communique made known on November 12, 2015, from the National Olympic Sports Committee cancelled Tombi a Roko's legitimacy at the helm of FECAFOOT affairs.
It is worth noting that the saga at the FECAFOOT Presidency Started since 2013 causing FIFA to temporally placed Cameroon under a Normalisation Committee that was headed by Joseph Owona.
