Eto'o Brace Fires Cameroon Past Togo

A brace from striker Samuel Eto'o Fils proved vital as Cameroon beat Togo 2-1 on Saturday in their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday in Yaoundé.

Eto'o scored in each half as the Indomitable Lions cruised to their second win of the qualifying series whilst Dove Wome found the net in between for the visitors in the Group I encounter.

Cameroon, a notable absentee from the recent Orange Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa gave their fans some cause to cheer by snatching the maximum points in the close encounter.

Cameroon leads the pack with six points, two more than Libya, who play DR Congo in Kinshasa on Sunday. DR Congo has three points and Togo just a point in that order.
