Chantal Biya int'l cycling Grand prix starts November 2

Initially scheduled from October 15 to 19 2014 and postponed indefinitely, the kickoff for the Chantal Biya international grand prix will take place 02 to 07 November at the 20th May Boulevard in Yaounde.

The news was made official on 14th October by the leaders of the Cameroon cycling Federation (Fecacyclisme), in agreement with the international cycling Union (Uci).

The preparations for the funeral of the mother of the first lady of Cameroon, godmother of Grand prix international cyclist, (who died October 2) and that of the president of the Fecacyclisme, Moustapha Dogo, (died October 8) justified this postponement.

On the ground, the Cameroonian cyclists have been refining their preparation for this challenge, which will bring together according to the Organizing Committee, cyclists from Africa, Europe and elsewhere.
