Cameroonians disappointed but remain optimistic

After a disappointing 1 -1 draw between Cameroon and Mali in the on-going AFCON in Equatorial Guinea, fans of the Indomitable lions in and around the country have continued to share in mixed feelings about the fate of their national team.

While others appreciate the boys for a work well down last Tuesday,January 20, 2015 in their first game with a difficult 1-1 draw, some fans of the lions have completely lost hope in the lions saying that the squad is still young and lacks experience.

According to these fans, the Head coach Volke Finke needed to bring in some of the old folks of the team to spice up their work in the Central African country.

Not-withstanding the above arguments, Cameroonians in the nation’s capital have testified that the lions stand a better chance of taking the trophy.

In ten outings, the lions have not recorded a defeat and this has caused more anxiety among the fans who are waiting anxiously for the next duel on Saturday January 24 when Cameroon takes on Guinea at 8:00pm local time in Malabo.

Team Captain Stephane Mbia, would be back to lead the lions to victory and thus qualify for the next round.
