Cameroon face Angola in Huye

Lions A' Lions A'

Cameroon’s indomitable Lions face off with Angola's Palancas Negras in a late kick-off match in Huye in the ongoing African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

Cameroon will be seeking revenge against Angola who beat them in 2011 in the same tournament via penalties that ended 8-7 knocking them out of the quarterfinals after the game ended goalless in Sudan. Angola however have had impressive results in their Pre Chan build up friendlies.

They qualified from the Southern Zone at the expense of football giants South Africa meaning they carry the hopes of the Southern African region.
Cameroon has had good preparations to the tournament drawing with hosts Rwanda and Uganda and will be slight favourites going into the game.
The fixture will be preceded with another group B tie that pits Ethiopia against DR Congo; the inaugural winners of the competition.
