Cameroon defeated but shone against Japan

The Cameroonian team was beaten 2-1 by Japan in Group C of the 2015 women's World Cup on June 12 in Vancouver.

But the Cameroonian team made it difficult for the reigning world champions. The Japanese, qualified for the next round, scored through Sameshima (6), and Sugasawa (17), before Nchout reduced the score for the indomitable Lionesses.

The Cameroonian team, currently 3rd in their group, will play for their eighth place in the final against Swiss on June 16 in Edmonton.
