Cameroon Cup: Unusual quarterfinals draws, random selection

Out of the five League 1 teams still in the race, two will face amateur clubs.

These are Panthère de Ndé and Botafogo de Douala who will play Afamba Libii de Sangmelima and Stade Renard de Melong respectively.

It will be a tough task for Botafogo de Douala, for League 1 side as they face Stade Renard de Melong that has a reputation for beating bigger clubs.

They eliminated Unisport de Haut-Nkam, Dragon de Yaoundé and Lion Blesse de Fotouni. The only opposition between clubs in League 1 will be Ums de Loum against Astres of Douala.

Out of the eight contenders left in the Cup of Cameroon, Panthere de Nde is the only team that has won a prestigious trophy. After winning the 1988 and 2009 editions, Panthère lost the final last year against Coton Sport de Garoua.

Quarter final fixtures:

Feutcheu FC de Bandjoun – Bamboutos de Mbouda

Afamba Libii de Sangmelima – Panthère du Ndé

Stade Renard de Melong – Botafogo de Douala

Ums de Loum – Astres FC de Douala

The first leg of the matches will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2015 in the stadium of the club mentioned first. Return legs will be a week later.
