Bélinga sends warning to stubborn players

Alexandre Belinga Alexandre Belinga

Alexandre Bélinga is aware his future will be played in 180 minutes at the double confrontation on November 13 and 17, 2015, against Niger in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qulifiers.

The Lions interim coach is thus ready to remove any obstacles which will disturb him. He is determined to succeed, even exclude players who stand by their bad behavior in "his" den.

Below is his warning to Stephane Mbia and his teammates.

"The people's moods do not interest me. I'm not there to manage moods. Anyone who will not be able to do with us will be sidelined. The best way not to have people upset is to put them out of the team. These players are our younger brothers. We also have played. So beyond football they play, we have an obligation to educate them as men.

"You cannot play football all your life. When one considers that this player has a very strong personality and he does not want to play with another player, it is simple: I sideline both of them. This Cameroon going forward.

"In order to rebuild this team that frightened the African and global nations, we must separate ourselves from this kind of behavior. If someone does not want to move forward with me, I separate myself from him and then I go," he said on Wednesday, during his first press conference as coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
