From June 30 to July 10, candidates will be selected for the final on July 14 in Yaounde.

Who will follow Nassere Mfouatah in Qatar? The name probably does not say much yet he is the winner of the 2014 Aspire Football Dreams in Cameroon.

Coming from the city of Douala, he won the pre-selection tests as well as the world finals in Qatar. Today he has a sports scholarship for five years at the Academy.

In Cameroon, enrollment and selection tests have been open since March. Target? The young footballers aged 13, so born in 2002.

From June 30 to July 10, the Spanish scouts mission will be to retain 30 young people participating in the final of the 7th edition of the footballers’ detection camp. They will pass the baton to the coaches in the Aspire Academy in Qatar.

Since last year, Thomas N'kono announced a youth training project from these selections. The project thus constitute a sort of breeding ground for local football.

"Out of 30 finalists, only two for example, can go for the world finals (15 candidates from countries expected in Qatar). Very often, the other 28 go home. It is time to recall and continue with them in training," reassures the former Indomitable Lions player.

Ultimately, it is the blossoming talent that matters. Speaking of talent, Raoul Kenne (21 years, KAS Eupen, Belgium) was recently selected with the team's reserves. First batch of Aspire project in Cameroon, he evolved as a professional as well as Etienne Wala Ankor (Sint Truiden), also in Belgium.

Cameroon is one of the seven African countries (Algeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal) benefiting from the project.
