African Athletics Conference: Colonel Kalkaba Malboum once more at the helm

Colonel Hamad Kalkaba Malboum has been re-elected as the President of the African Athletics Confederation.

The 65 year old man was given another chance last Tuesday 3rd March 2015 during an ongoing general meeting of the association that is taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethopia.

Colonel Hamad Kalkaba Malboum was re-elected for another four years term of office by acclamation, following the withdrawal of his opponent Shek Mohammed Ahmed from Djibouti.

As the president of the confederation, the Colonel will chair the 2015 African Junior Athletics Championship that opens in Adis Ababa,Ethopia on Thursday 5thMarch 2015.

It is worth noting that, Cameroon will be represented in the 2015 competition in Ethopia by four athletes.
