Aboubakar scores from a free-kick in Cameroonian victory

Aboubakar stood out in the Cameroonian victory over Niger (3-0), at the General Seyni Kountche Stadium, in Niamey, Niger, for the first leg of the second African qualification round for the 2018 World Cup.

The number nine for the Dragons, who took the role of captain, 84 minutes in, scored the second goal for the Indomitable Lions, thanks to a fantastic free-kick hit just outside the area (39m), which meant his 12th goal in 41 caps.

Cameroon sealed the match in just four minutes, still in the first-half, as, before the goal scored by Aboubakar, Stéphane M’Bia had already scored (36m).

Edgar Salli (40m) closed the scoreboard and pretty much made the second leg a formality. That match is scheduled for November 17 (Tuesday), in Yaoundé, capital city of Cameroon.
