AFCON 2015: Lions in ‘rest-active mode’

The Lions now in camp in Libreville, Gabon are today on a “rest active mode’, a formula adopted by the coach, Volker Finke with a walk on the beach this morning.

The Lions walked and ran on the beach for a distance of about 4km and at the same time enjoyed the cool breeze from the sea for about 45 minutes.

In an interview as well as on his Facekbook page, Stephane Mbia reassured of his state of health and expressed the determination of the team to make Cameroonians smile during the Nations Cup.

Lions forward Eric Maxim Choupo Mouting added that the team has been fine-tuning their training and strategies to attain their objectives.

The Lions would train this evening at the Amitie Stadium in Libreville.
