A training ground for Limbé Stadium underway

According to sources close to CMEC, a second phase for the construction project for the Stadium in Limbe was recently signed with Cameroon. The latter envisages the construction of road and parking space. Outside, a training area is also expected. The field will beat the minimum international standards, (60x90m).

Water pipes have been installed but there is no water yet. With the help of tanks, the company has accumulated quantities that were used among other things for the construction of the main structure and watering the grass runway. "We found a way to have water because he had to build the stadium. ", explains Eric Cui, Senior Advisor to the CMEC and coordinator of the work in Cameroon.

Electricity also is missing and for the moment, a generator powers the site. "We had to find solutions to each of the problems faced," says our source. However, a generator, diesel, with a capacity of 1200 KW will operate, when the stadium is functional. "

Still in scheme, the outside track dedicated to people with disabilities is being completed. According to international standards of construction of stadiums, the displacement of these people must be taken into account in each of the sites.
