2018 World Cup: Cameroon and South Africa on course

Cameroon and South Africa, respectively victors against Niger (3-0) and Angola (3-1) in the first legs of the second qualifying round for the World Cup-2018 on Friday, have qualified for the third and final round.

However, Côte d'Ivoire had to fight to win in Liberia on the lowest scores (1-0) and will have to be wary in four days at its Abidjan Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium for the return leg.

Tunisia, led in the last hour against Mauritania, turned things around in six minutes by Khazri and Chikhaoui to ease pressure for the return leg.

Ghana and Comoros (0-0) were held in check and Senegal could do no better than draw with Madagascar (2-2), ended the game feeling a little threatened.
