2013/14 national athletics champs unveiled

The champions of the seasons have finally been revealed for the 53rd national finals organized over the weekend. More than 250 athletes from all regions registered at the onset, and just as last year, Centre region athletes excelled.

If records were not beaten, the Favorites came from jumps, including Sandrine Joëlle Mbumi (Triple-Jump and length) and Marcel II Mayack (Triple-Jump and length) and throwing with Auriole Douglas as champion of Cameroon.

From these Championships, Sandrine Sandrine Mbumi and Auriole Dongmo were chosen to represent Cameroon at the continental World Cup (13 and 14 September) in Morocco Marrakech.
