National Weather Service issues flood forecast

Cameroon's national weather service(dmn) has issued flood warnings for the Eastern,Western and Littoral regions as the country is expecting heavy rains and thunderstorms in the coming days.

Medium-risk flood warnings were also issued for some shallows Littoral, Southwest and Centre regions.

Flood warnings were issued for the river N'gongue , Banya and Kondi in the Littoral region .

Last year Severe flooding caused by tropical monsoon rains devastated Cameroon's economic capital, Douala. At least 4 people were killed, 2 000 displaced, and over 30 000 citizens were directly affected by July 1, 2015, after more than a week of heavy rainfall.
