Cameroon - Japan cooperation reviewed

The Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi and the Japanese Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E Kumio Okamura have hailed cooperation ties between Cameroon and Japan.

The appraisal was made in Yaounde this 6th August 2015 during a meeting to evaluate the level of execution of the 2012 Japanese agreement to finance projects in Cameroon.

Accordingly, close to 40 projects worth four billion CFAF are being financed by Japan under the framework of the agreement.

The projects being executed are in various domains including agriculture, education, water and energy.

After holding talks, Minister Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi and H.E Kumio Okamura visited one of the beneficiaries of the project in Afanoyao, in the outskirts of Yaounde.
