Théophile Yimgaing Moyo "not worried" about the terrorism Act

The national president of the citizen movement (Moci) noted that those who present it as a media law do not know what they are talking about.

Unlike his ally who opposes the new law against terrorism, Moci (citizen movement) supports it. This is reflected in the words of its national president Théophile Yimgaing Moyo.

"Moci is not worried by the new law on terrorism. There never enough precautions to be taken", he said about the initiative of the Government.

According to him, terrorism Act will further enhance the safety of Cameroonians in this time which the country is considered he said, as being "at war".

"You've heard what the President of the national Assembly said of Boko Haram. I expect that they denounced it! Which means that if the current legislation is unable to flush out those insiders who are on the other side, well there are provisions to take basic precautions", noted the former member of the Democratic Union of Cameroon.

Yimgaing Moyo fears especially infiltration of Boko Haram. He cited the case of those people caught in the southern part of the country. "If one is not careful, the war goes down," he warned. He addressed mostly to those who challenged the law on terrorism. "I am not on the side of those who say that there is a draconian law because they do not know what it is a draconian law, Théophile Yimgaing Moyo noted.
