Kafkaïen de Flash Ndiomo trial resumes January 22

The Director of Production of the Journal Le Zénith will be back before the judge, after missing a hearing November 27 in Yaounde.

The hearing of Thursday, November 27 at the Court of first instance in Ekounou, in Yaoundé was to decide on the provisional release of the editor of the Zenith on the one hand, and on the appearance of the witnesses of the Secretary general (Sg) of the Ministry of Finances (Minfi), Urbain Noël Ebang Mvé, on the other hand.

But it could not be held because of the absence of complainant and his witnesses. As a reminder, the hearing of October 30 had not been held and the case had been referred to November 27, a true test of nerve for the young journalist unjustly imprisoned in Kondengui central prison.

This 27 November, Flash visibly was in bad shape due to torture in prison, and disease because of bad living conditions, appeared alone in front of the judge in this case which opposed him to his best friend.

He had been summoned on the grounds of "defamation and dissemination of false information" after he published in his journal information relating to goods wrongly acquired by Urbain Noël Ebang Mve.

In addition to his detention in inhuman conditions, shares his cell with rats, snakes, mosquitoes and insects of all kinds. However, the bimonthly Le Zénith DP fears for his life.

It is worth noting that on 27 November, before Flash Ndiomo took the floor, his audience had already been dismissed for December 15. What his counsel, Me Christian Nsang described as a big shame for the justice of our country.
