I am the doyen of the opposition - Atah Robert

After noticing the presence of his club, Bome United among the teams presented as fictional by the Group of those disqualified in the election of the president of the Cameroon football Federation, he noted that he does not dissociate himself from his comrades but wants to be recognized now as a doyen.

Despite the presence of his team, Bome United, among those presented as fictional, Robert Atah ensured he will not dissociate himself from his other four classmates: Joseph Antoine Bell, Jules Nyongha, Brigitte Mebande and Robert Penne.

However, he wished to be recognized as a doyen among the other disqualified candidates for several reasons. "I was the opponent of Iya Mohammed and the Committee for standardisation and among all the disqualified candidates, I'm the only president elected (Departmental League of Momo)," he said on the airwaves of the Equinox Radio.

Yesterday Tuesday, after noticing the presence of his club as well as those of many of his relatives in the County League "created for electoral purposes" sent to FIFA, Atah Robert, very surprised did not hesitate to lay a release to dissociate himself from the content of this document.

"Candidate Atah Robert Barazah informs the national and international sport community that he rejects certain content of this document in this case those contained in pages 8 and referring to a job that would have been done by the Iyaistes and clubs that would have allegedly been created for electoral purposes. His approach to protest is because as elected president of the departmental league of Momo (North-West), his own League club, Bome United, that of his vice President, Meta Sport Academy, and many other clubs in the League of which he has been in charge since October 19, 2014 are inexplicably in this list of clubs called ficticious," he wrote.

Unlike other companions who multiply meetings he was looking for sponsorships which will allow his candidacy to be validated.

According to Jules Nyongha, former coach of the indomitable lions and one of the five who were disqualified, the presence of the teams belonging to Robert Atah and relatives in this list was a "mistake."

Candidate Robert Atah, who did not participate in the drafting of this document still gave his consent in principle for its publication.
