Exim Bank guarantees 25 of the 46 billion to CMR through SG

The American import-export Bank financing positioned itself as the guarantor of 25 billion Cfa francs, on the loan agreement for a total of 46 billion francs Cfa authorized by the Cameroonian president, Paul Biya, with the french Banking Group Société Générale, to finance the construction of 55 metal bridges in Cameroon.

For Exim - Bank US, which once again demonstrates its importance both for the United States for the support for development in the third world countries, "these bridges are very important for Cameroon where they will be a great contribution for the establishment of reliable and solid infrastructure. On the other hand, they will be an opportunity to provide employment to nearly 200 Americans, during the period of their manufacturing and their facilities".

Indeed, the bridges controlled by the Cameroon Government through its Ministry of public works, will be manufactured, delivered and installed by Acrow Corporation of America, a company belonging to the category of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United States.

But beyond this status, the company presents itself as leader in the manufacture and distribution of prefabricated bridges, especially in developing countries, where it has already marketed in over 60 countries nearly 1000 bridges.
