162 apply for admission into the tax board

The Auditorium of the National School of administration and Magistracy (Enam), hosted Saturday, 162 candidates competing for admission into the tax board.

The candidates were assessed on four bases: the tax on income, consumption, tax procedures and testing relating to specific taxation.

The candidates were all aged at least 25 years and holders of a master II in taxation or a diploma of specialized higher studies (Dess). The competition was open to applicants from member-countries of the Central African economic and Monetary Community (Cemac) without limitation of place.

This first vintage consisted only of Cameroonian nationality applicants. The announcement of the results is expected in a few months emphasized Guy Honoré Tchente, president of the national order of tax consultants of Cameroon (Oncfc), who supervised the conduct of the review in the company of the president of the General Assembly of this Council, Elisha Eyenga.

In the opinion of Guy Honoré Tchente, a tax Board has several missions among others, give consultations in tax matters, assist the taxpayer in writing all acts affecting taxation, help them to endorse monthly and annual tax statements.
