2014 DIXIADES kick starts today

The National Olympic and Sports committee has indicated their preparedness to host 4th edition of the National Games christened, DIXIADES in Yaounde.

Some 2,200 delegates from within and outside Cameroon are in Yaounde to compete in 12 sports disciplines that kicks off on 16th December 2014.

According to the project manager in charge of the games at the National Olympic and Sports committee, David Ojong, preparations have been finalised concerning lodging, feeding and transportation of athletes and officials.

To further indicate the preparation of the Federation, Mr David Ojong says a list of participating athletes have been published and accreditations were ready by Saturday.

He disclosed that the first delegation arrive in Yaounde on 15th December.
