Staff of Prime Minister's Office Rewarded

Some 24 staff of the Prime Minister's Office were on Friday, November 16, 2012 decorated with labour medals ranging from goal, silver and bronze.

The ceremony at the esplanade of the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister's Office was chaired by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Gregoire Owona in the presence of the Secretary General at the Prime Minister's Office, Louis Paul Motaze.

The speechless ceremony took over 30 minutes and the only perceptible sound was shouts of joy and encouragement from colleagues, family members and friends to the decorated staff.

Many of them expressed happiness with the medals, stating that there were a recognition of hard work and also promised to work harder to merit more rewards.

The handshakes, hugs and handing of bouquets of flowers to the happy recipients of the medals spiced the event.
