FIFA extends mandate of FECAFOOT normalisation committee

An official of football's world governing body, FIFA has hinted that mandate of the normalisation of the cameroon football federation, FECAFOOT may eventually be extended.

Mr Corvaro Primo who has been leading a four man FIFA delegation to Cameroon broke the news at a joint press conference in Yaounde.

According to the FIFA official, the reasons for the mandate extension is to give the commission enough time to finish up with some crucial articles of the new FECAFOOT constitution that is currently been elaborated.

FIFA-FECAFOOT working session took place in-camera. It was organized to chart a way forward for FECAFOOT, as the mandate of the Normalisation Committee grinds to an end.

During the press conference, the head of the FIFA delegation to Cameroon appreciated the work of the normalisation committee.
