Yogurt companies battle for market in Cameroon

With an annual growth of 25%, the Cameroonian yogurt market arouses envy.

Two local players have the lion's share with 90% sales but are fighting a battle. 'Success' met with them to find out more about this 'battle of supremacy'.

Historical leader in the yogurt market in Cameroon for 30 years, the local yogurt company, Camlait, had to cede its place to its compatriot Dolait, who entered the market in 2002.

The "Success" was in Douala to decipher the sales and marketing strategies of the two companies which also have to cope with the arrival of new market entrants.
