Eneo has disclosed in a release on Thursday, December 18 that the installation of a new transformer at BGRM will cause extensive power outage in Yaoundé.

This interruption will occur between 00 hours to 15 hours on Friday and will cover many areas like Nkomkana; Mbankolo; Tsinga; brick; Carrefour Board; Carrefour Jamot; Mvolyé; Biyem Assi market; Tomtom Weekend; Mendong; Nkolzié and Eloumden. The administrative center will also be affected.

However, even though Eneo adviced the public to visit its web pages to know the list of areas to be affected, accurate and complete information was not published when we put up this article online.

Moreover, in order to guarantee the end of the holiday season and probably CAN 2015 without much disturbance, Eneo launched a wave of interventions across the country, especially in the Lékié, Mvila, Dja and Lobo of Nkam Manyu.

Unfortunately for residents of the capital, the recurrence of disturbances became noticeable since the interruption of November 22 when the explosion of 3000 gas cylinders in a fraudulent deposit had caused a two-day blackout in the city of Seven hills.
