An international conference on African traditions and industrialization organized by the Centre international de Recherche et de Documentation sur les Traditions et Langues Africaines (Cerdotola) and sited under the patronage of the Head of State began on Thursday, June 18, 2015.
The international symposium is being held at Hôtel Mont Fébé in Yaoundé on the theme, "Africa in search of a culturally sustainable development: the place and role of tradition in contemporary dynamism of development."
Experts from some fifty selected universities and research centers from five continents of the world will discuss the industrialization programme of African traditions.
Ahead of the conference, CERDOTOLA organized a press launch on Tuesday in Yaoundé where CT met with its executive secretary, Professor Charles Binam Bikoi.
