Yannick Noah to invest FCFA 40 billion in real estate

Yannick Noah and a group of French investors are to invest 40 billion CFA francs in several sectors including real estate in Cameroon.

According to the daily newspaper, La Messager, the former French tennis player and singer from Cameroon, Yannick Noah, was received discreetly at the star complex by the Prime Minister last weekend.

According to members of the delegation accompanying the French star of Cameroonian origin and the retired star of world tennis, he is considering investing in his country of origin. "Yannick Noah is going to do something great in Cameroon so that his name would be remembered," the newspaper reported, citing a member of the delegation as a source.

This investment, for a start, is in real estate and social investment in the city of Yaoundé, at Djoungolo, a district of the Capitale, reported the newspaper.

Yannick Noah, born in Sedan in France (1960) to Cameroonian father, Zacharie Noah, former footballer, acquired his world fame after winning the French Open tournament (1983) and also being the highest ranked French player ATP (N0 3 in July 1986) and the most successful with 23 titles.

In 1991, Yannick Noah and veteran basketball player Joakim Noah, began a career in singing.
