Xavier Djiké duped by fake landlord

Xavier Djiké, young Bachelor, paid the sum of 320,000 Fcfa to a certain Michel Noubou who presented him as the owner of a mini-cite at Ange Raphaël in Douala.

After many negotiations on the subject of the lease fixed initially at 30,000 Fcfa months, Xavier rather paid 320,000 Fcfa representing 11 months of rent and a deposit of 45000 Fcfa.

The "landlord" handed him a key that never opened the lock of the visited House from the outside. It is in the company of his parents, who came to visit the House, that the new student became aware of the deception.

Michel Noubou, the "leasor" is no where to be found and is not known to the occupants of the city. The facts date back last July. Xavier has just obtained his baccalaureate D at the Lycée of Nkongsamba.

He arrived in Douala to find a room. After information, Xavier is directed to Michel Noubou by a stranger.

Subsequently, Michel Noubou pointed to the Chamber that he would occupy at the end of the corridor. "This room should be free in a week. Unfortunately, the tenant is absent, otherwise you would have visited the exhibit, said the so-called landlord.

Xavier returned to Nkongsamba, convinced of having achieved a good deal. "He gave me an invoice signed and sealed. I knew the room was mine," he said.

When Xavier Djiké was trying to open the lock of "her" room, a tenant has made him understand that the owner of the premises is absent 'Rodrigue is on leave", he yelled.
