As a prelude to the organization of the African Cup of Nations scheduled for 2016, the Cameroonian Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Biyiti Bi Essam, has stated that he will invest 1 billion FCfa for the deployment of optical fibre in stadiums and hotels.
The objective is to ensure a smooth and effective communication. "The device will improve the fax, internet, mobile and fixed telephone services in stadiums and hotels and the centre of excellence of the Confederation of African football (CAF), in Bankomo on the outskirts of Yaoundé.
