Valery Mezague buried in Baleveng

Died on November 15 in Toulon in France, the former indomitable lion was buried Sunday, November 30, 2014 in his native village in the Division of Menoua, West of Cameroon.

On Saturday, November 29, 2014 about 22 hours the body of former football player of the Indomitable Lions, Valery Mezague, arrived and then returned to his family in Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport.

After a stop at the Foyer Baleveng Yaounde to enable people from the capital to pay their respects to the deceased footballer, the course was set for Baleveng his native village in the division of Menoua, around 4 am Sunday morning.

After nearly six hours of driving, the delegations crowd the floor of the village where he was laid to rest around 1:45 p.m. after several hours of testimony and lamentations. Born in Marseille in France, Valery Mezague died at the age of 30.

He had seven selections with the lions and was particularly noted during the Confederations Cup France 2003, when Cameroon had played and lost the final against France.
