After two weeks at the Kadji Sports Academy (KSA) of Douala, the lionesses have completed their two-week training in preparation for the women's football world cup to be held in Jordan.

The young team ended with a match that pitted the U-15 male and the meeting ended in a victory for the boys; 5 goals against 0.

Le Jour newspaper on Thursday, December 17, emphasized that it was "a heavy defeat in a first output for a team whose daily routines boiled down to workouts and walks in the economic capital and its peripheries."

According to the daily, the girls were on the training pitch twice daily; "We were working at 6:15 to 8:30 am in mornings and the evening between 3:50 p.m to 6:00 pm," said the national coach Minkreo Birwe.

He later said, "we reviewed the fundamentals, control, and ball control, with emphasis on stamina as we have a young team," he said.

To affirm what the national coach said, the newspaper stated that the girls were training under good conditions. In order for the players to relax, they were taken to Limbe town for about 30 minutes.

They visited the Botanic Gardens and walked along the sea. Everything has been facilitated by the hierarchy to allow the young players to be in better condition to face the double confrontation of the second qualifying round against Ethiopia.

The young Lionesses have been urged to produce good results on January 9 at the Bepanda stadium, concluded the newspaper.
