Two leaders inspire the CUIB community

The month of November received two guest speakers at the City of Saints and Scholars; Dr. Fonong Elisabeth CEO of Team Spirit Holistic Foundation (TESHO) who spoke on the necessity of work life balance and Mr. Alain Nteff, the brain behind the Gifted Mom Cameroon project, who inspired students on the fact that they can be successful in Cameroon.

During her talk, Dr. Fonong Elisabeth told the aspiring entrepreneurs of the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) that "success comes when there is work life balance."

The CEO highlighted in her discourse that relationships can be successful only when both parties (Husband and Wife) completely understand and communicate with each other and above all properly manage their time and money. Dr. Fonong cautioned students to understand their role in a relationship as it has a direct effect on the output of the entrepreneur.

On his part, Alain Nteff encouraged students to take advantage of every situation, saying they must use their skills and intuition to solve problems.

The Computer Engineer urged students to wake up and get hold of every opportunity underlining that “Africa is rising but Africans are not”. Alain invited students to develop innovative and sustainable projects which will and can attract funding and help them achieve their dreams.

The two guest speakers talking on challenges made it clear to the CUIB Community that challenges will always be present in every endeavor, however, should not be a barrier.

Dr. Fonong who spoke of work life balance concluded that for a family to be successful; team spirit and above all God should be at the centre of every activity and decision. Alain Nteff on his part called on the entire community to start believing in themselves if they must succeed.

The President of CUIB Rev. Fr. George Nkeze thanked the two guest speakers for their inspirational discourse adding that it will make the City of Saints and Scholars better servant leaders and entrepreneurs
