Two fugitives arrested on suspicion of being suicide bombers

Two fugitives, Bachirou Bello (22 years) and Hamadou Yaouba (18 years), have been arrested by the police on suspicion of being suicide bombers.

They were caught with Cni and Cameroonian voter’s cards. Another young man of about 15 who could not be identified had explosives in his possession. He was seen in the company of two women.

The 15 year old was eventually arrested by the police in Maroua with the help of citizen vigilance. The Police who detained him at the 1st district said he had in his possession, “items that look like explosives in a plastic bag.”

Meanwhile, about 2500 illegal Nigerians have ‘rounded up’ in Kousseri and returned to their country via secured corridors today.
