Two female suicide bombers arrested in Kousseri

Two female suicide bombers were arrested by the forces of defense and security yesterday at Blakiassia, a Cameroonian village in Kousseri, according to our source who requested anonymity.

"The two women wore explosives on them. Their age varied between 15 and 25 years. They spoke Hausa. According to the translator, they came from a Nigerian village close to the border with Cameroon," says our security source.

According to official sources, since the July 22 twin bombings in Maroua, the capital of the Far North, which resulted in 14 dead and 31 wounded, the defense forces and Cameroonian security are on the lookout. They have reinforced the monitoring of the territory.

They proceeded various checkpoints; body and luggage searches, stations, airports and on the roads. Covert surveillance of crowded places has also increased.
