The Cameroonian Government has just awarded the contract for replacement of the roofs at the national refinery (Sonara) to the Chinese company, Top International Engineering Corp, for 1.154 billion Cfa francs, we learned officially. The period for execution of the work is six months.
The Chinese company was preferred to the french group Frielander, eliminated for 'insufficient technical supply', as well as a group led by the Portuguese company Cimontubo, whose financial offer was considered to be high.
Top International Engineering Corp., a subsidiary of Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group Corporation, is part of the top 500 Chinese enterprises. The company is present in several countries of West and Central Africa.
