Thirteen Boko Haram suspects arrested in Bodo

Thirteen suspected Boko Haram members were arrested by the defense and security forces on Monday in Bodo, Makary district.

They were arrested on the denunciation of the inhabitants, including members of the Bodo vigilance committee. They fell into an ambush set by the army after they were informed that Boko Haram elements would attack the village.

On the night of August 29 to 30, people from the Djaoudé village, in the district of Pette (Diamaré) routed six members of Boko Haram, who had entered their village. Identified, the attackers fled.
