The Cameroon football Federation headquarters located in Tsinga, Yaoundé was left in shock after a robbery incident was discoverd in some offices.

After quite a long weekend due to the Eid celebrations, employees discovered that thugs had broken into Joseph Owona’s office located on the first floor of the three storey-building. "Bandits, specifically robbed Joseph Owona’s office," noted an employee of Fecafoot.

"It cannot be said precisely when the incident took place but it was between Friday and yesterday Sunday. The observation was made this morning" indicated our source. A safety belt has prevented access into the looted offices. No information was revealed on what the thieves made away with.

The elements of the gendarmerie and the police were at the scene to question witnesses and employees. Since the Committee for Standardization took charge of the management of the Fecafoot two years ago, this is the second time unknown persons have robbed the Cameroon football Federation headquarters.

The first time was in December 2013 when thugs visited the offices of the National Commission of youth football taking away computers, documents and sports equipment. The results of the investigation have still not been disclosed.

Before the findings this morning, the Fecafoot had set Monday, July 20, 2015, afternoon for the draw ceremony of the 2015 Cameroon Cup. It was a competition that was forfeited due to the Cameroonian football management's battles preventing the conduct of the preliminary matches of the cup of Cameroon in the regions.
